New President in The Nordic Chefs Association

Marcus Hallgren becomes the new President of the Nordic Chefs Association. Thorir Erlingsson is stepping down after his term of 2 years.

Marcus Hallgren will take office as the new President from the congress in may 2025. The board sends a thank you to Past President Thorir Erlingsson for his service.

The Nordic Chefs Assiciation (NKF) works together to promote the culinary profession through the Nordic countries. NKF is a politically neutral organisation of which all the Nordic countries are members.

“What do i see in the future? I see everything from collaboration, marketing, education, competition and the very important work to take care of our earth.

Our environment, our nature and climate needs serious help.

If we don’t act now, the consequences for our planet will be irreversible. Let’s make the right choices now, let us the nordic members lead others in this important matter.

I believe in the future and i believe in the Nordic chefs association, and I think

that we can do greatness, but we can only do that together.”
